**************************************************************************************************************

So I recently purchased the ShinHan Alcohol markers from CTMH... In the past I have always used SU! Markers or Copic's so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.     Plus with the recent colouring book fad I figured I could always use more pens to colour with :)

I decided to use the SOTM from March....it didn't help that when I coloured these cute tea cups in I was drinking a cuppa tea as it was raining hard outside.    Anyway... I  choose the colours based on the Hello Lovely paper collection....it's not my usual colour palette I am drawn too...but it just screamed out to me when I was flickering through all the available paper packs.

So here is the close up of my card... no fancy shading...

I also used 3D Pop dots to give the card a little depth

Some bling was needed so I figured the gold glitter gems did the trick - a nice pop!

Cross Canada Blog Hop Language Stamps

Bonjour / Hola / Hello
Welcome to our March Blog Hop featuring our stamp sets that are available in French, Spanish and English. When you flip through the catalogue those stamps are identified with a World globe.
We have an amazing group of talented ladies all across Canada, and they sure would love to hear from you, so before hopping onto the next person, take a moment and leave a comment about what you loved.
If you've arrived from Carol-Anne's blog then you are in the right place! If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, and continue from East Coast to West Coast, you can start here at Michelle's blog.
Here is my card... I CASED this card from Vicki Wizniuk blog...
This was a challenge for me as I'm a colour inside the lines kinda gal. Doodling.. what's that???  I have trouble with letting go and just doodling...so this card was perfect practice to do that. I changed the embossing folder to chevron and the card stock colours to the colours that appealed to me (Raspberry & Sea Glass). What do you think??
I used the stamp set Happy to Be Friends (french)... I really loved the font used
I can't wait to give this to one of my french friends
The biggest challenge for this card was all the fussy cutting... it turned ok in the end... but my hand got a cramp from all that cutting ;}
I added some itty bitty diamonds..plus a little bit of shimmer pen..
A must for every card I make now.
Don't forget the shimmer trim for added sparkle...

Fusion Card Challenge - Whale Hello there!

So last night I was in a mojo funk...so I decided to do a card challenge. - Fusion Card Challenge check out the linkie on the side bar here on my blog to join in.  It's always great when you can't pick a sketch or colour palette.
Here is my finished card..

I used Sapphire, Slate, Whisper Ink... randomly stamp on Daisy White Cardstock.
Lastly I used a small piece of the Fundamentals Enchantment paper line with the mixed alpha to give it some focus...

As usual there has to be glitter... so i used the silver glitter cardstock with the 2" circle thin let.

I also used the ShinHan Art Pens - Caribbean Blue, Marine Blue & Turquoise Blue to colour in the Whale..... and finished it off with the clear shimmer pen for some more sparkle.

Plus I added the White enamel dots to add some flare & dimension to the card.

As you can see I created my own Alphabet Paper with all my alphabet stamps.
Check out below for the Alphabet stamp sets I used currently available in the CTMH catty..

Some Kinda Wonderful Cards

As part of the swap with the consultants we had to create 2 cards or 3D items using the matching stamp sets & thin cuts.   I choose to do 2 cards... a 6x6 shaker card and a standard card.

I popped the fox from the card with a little foam tape to give it a nice dimension, plus I love the crisp look the thin lets give the fox....no fussy cutting for me!! Yeah!!!

Of course I used the shimmer pen to highlight the fox's hair line ;) It's not a Sue card otherwise....without a bit of bling/sparkle.

So here is the shaker card.... I created the shaker part using a 3x4 CTMH clear Memory protectors Flip Flap tucked in behind the solid Raspberry card stock.

Once again using the new 'Happy Birthday' thin let helped create the perfect window for the shaker card...I love that these are not joint together so you can move it anywhere on the card stock.

Finished it off with the slate polka dot ribbon <3 nbsp="" p="">

Thanks for looking...

Some Kinda Wonderful layout

Hello,

As promised... here is some photos from the recent CTMH consultant paperline swap I took part in back in January.  I choose 'Some Kinda Wonderful' scrapbooking from the recent seasonal catty.

For the scrapbook layout I decided to stay away from the usual colours of the 'Some Kinda Wonderful' paper pack.   I wanted to try some stamping instead....and maybe create my own paper with the stamp set that came with the kit.   Plus I have 'thing' with hot pink & black ;)

Here is the stamp set from the scrapbooking kit... great for background stamping..

 Cheers
